While ACDCA’s annual distributions meet immediate survival needs, the Own Your Future (OYF) program addresses the root causes of generational poverty. OYF is an intensive 6-month youth empowerment, mentorship, and workforce readiness initiative serving young adults ages 14–19 across Los Angeles County.

Through interactive workshops, peer skits, professional mentorship, and mental health resilience modules, OYF equips under-resourced youth with the practical tools needed to navigate adulthood, launch careers, and break cycles of poverty.
